About the Role
We are hiring a dedicated Substance Use Counselor (CASAC) to provide direct clinical care to clients in our outpatient addiction treatment program. You will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals through early recovery, helping them develop coping skills, and preventing relapse.
The ideal candidate is passionate about recovery, detail-oriented in documentation, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate group therapy sessions covering topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, and emotional regulation.
- Provide individual counseling and case management services.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with outside providers, legal entities, and family members as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with OASAS regulations and agency standards for documentation.
Qualifications
- Current CASAC or CASAC-T certification in New York State.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an OASAS-licensed facility preferred.
- Strong understanding of the 12-step model and other recovery pathways.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
